attended college on a full academic scholarship (graduated high school valedictorian from W.T. Woodson High School) with the James m. Johnston scholarship & Carolina covenant scholarship. Earned dean’s list all semesters & was part of the unc-ch leadership institute, & also phi beta kappa.
Studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark through the Copenhagen business school and in Barcelona, Spain with the IES (internatonal exchange program for students) for two summers in a row……(Summers of 2006 & 2007)……
Worked as a Managing Associate and as a student counsel for the UNC Attorney General Staff as part of the UNC-CH Honor Court System….
worked part time as a researching assistant for the UNC-CH Kenan-Flagler Business School (KFBS) – did analytical consulting work for the unc-ch student call center and for 10 other universities to increase donations/revenues towards their schools
studied abroad in El Sur de Turrabures, Costa Rica where a group of KFBS students and I provided consulting services for this small rural town to try to become financially independent from “globeaware” (a non-profit organization) through rural tourism ideas for its future sustainable development…..
also traveled to Cairo, Egypt and Istanbul, turkey in may of 2008 to study Middle Eastern business and warehouse factory development systems (including those of Samsung dryers/washing machines production) while immersing in cultural programs; visited the Great Pyramids of Giza and also the mosques of Istanbul, turkey.…..

PricewaterhouseCoopers (pwc) advisory associate for ita Washington federal practice in McLean, VA (October 2009 – May 2011)

Worked as a pwc consultant for the federal governmental agency known as the national institutes of health (NIH); specifically worked for its nih enterprise risk management (erm) program for the Office of Management Assessment (OMA) – located in Rockville, Maryland…..
as part of the erm program, I helped integrate the Oracle GRC-m (governance, risk, and compliance manager) Software diplomatically across the agency and technically learned the software at an advanced level; through this approach, i took the lead in developing its excel-based grc-m user manual for the nih users; also taught usage of this new software for more than 180 nih leaders; prior to this teaching program, i led the pwc nih erm program’s 9 week system-based pilot of the oracle grc-m system….
The purpose of the oracle software was to provide a platform to identify, manage, and analyze risk data to prevent risks from occurring at the NIH, so that the nih agency complied with federal governmental compliance policies. In May of 2011, I quit my job at PWC for health-related/privacy reasons, but I left my job with the highest ethical work standards….
